Record a polished product demo in 10 minutes

A good demo is short, calm and easy to follow. Most of the polish comes after you hit stop, which is why Zoomy edits the recording rather than asking you to perform perfectly.
1. Prepare the screen
Close notifications, hide personal tabs and pick one window or one display. Pick 30 fps for a normal demo, or 60 fps if there is a lot of scrolling.
2. Record with your cursor in mind
Zoomy records your cursor and clicks next to the video. That is what lets it zoom on what you click later, so move to a target, pause for a moment, then click. Slower, deliberate movements look better than fast ones.
3. Let auto-zoom do the camera work
With Zoomy Pro, auto-zoom adds a smooth zoom on every click. On the free plan you can add zooms by hand. Choose the speed that matches your pace, and use follow-cam on long actions such as typing.
4. Frame it
Pick a wallpaper or gradient, add padding and rounded corners, and apply one of the one-click looks. A calm background makes the interface stand out.
5. Add a few words
One title at the start and a step label for each key moment is usually enough. Subtitles help people watching without sound.
6. Export
Export to MP4 for a general-purpose file. If you only need a short loop for a README, export a GIF.
