Export settings for every platform
October 29, 2026 · 3 min read
Zoomy can reshape an export without touching your project, so you can publish one edit in several formats.
Pick the format
- MP4 works almost everywhere. It is the safe default.
- WebM is a good fit for the web and for embedding in documentation.
- GIF is for short loops in READMEs and chat. Keep it brief, since GIFs get large fast.
Pick the shape
Platform presets set the aspect ratio for you: wide for YouTube and presentations, vertical for short-video feeds, square for timelines. Your original project stays untouched.
Resolution and frame rate
The free plan exports up to 1080p at 30 fps with a small “Made with Zoomy” badge. Zoomy Pro exports up to 4K at 60 fps with no badge. For a normal screen demo, 1080p at 30 fps is plenty.
Save it online
After exporting, choose “Save to Zoomy cloud” to keep the video in your account. From My videos on usezoomy.com you can make it public, copy the link and read comments.
